So much has happened in just two days - crossed a border, moored in Viana do Castelo and visited Portugal's most famous landmark - the Basilica of Santa Luzia and had stunning views - the 3rd best panoramic view in the world according to National Geographic (it was hazy so our photos aren't that good!) and then on to Povoa de Vazim (very good value for money marina) where we mounted today's expedition. Took the bikes on the metro into Porto and did the town, even had time for a wine tasting at Calem - suppliers of port to Famous Grouse for their whisky!! Totally exhausted - the visitors' map doesn't have contours and no one warned us that Porto was on a mountain like Everest! Thank goodness for the bikes!
