Fab trip included flying the parasailor for 17 hours before the wind got too strong, travelled in an almost straight line covering 402.7nm (our passage plan was 400nm!) and arrived in Ares after 3 nights at sea.  Our welcome from Jon (Hecla of Uist) was wonderful as were the beers that he brought on board as soon as we had anchored!      If you have time,   St Mary's to Ares   is a fuller report of the trip.
