James woke this morning to the strains of Happy Birthday … from the next door boat!   We have yet to discover who is celebrating but James celebrated last night at the mid-week beach BBQ at Portsmouth, Dominica!   The food was just as good as the one we’d attended a few weeks ago but the music was even better and we all ‘strutted our stuff’ on a jammed dance (or should it be ‘sand’) floor!   We’re spending a few days in Dominica to do some maintenance and further investigation …. And to recover from a couple of tough days sailing in the normal 40 knot winds!   We’re wondering why we ever bought a new main sail, it’s so rarely used!    Oh, and by the way, we've seen another whale!   There is a photo on the March RTW page but you will probably have to use your imagination to spot it!
