Le Marin is really only a small village but the marina is very large and the bay is just jam packed with yachts.  As a result there are lots of chandleries and yachtie type things, several restaurants, but not a lot else.   However this weekend has been the Yole Festival which has meant music, BBQs and a lot of activity.   On Saturday night we entertained Freebooter (Annemarie & Steve) on board, having been to them for drinks on Wednesday night after helping them get their engineless boat into the Marina; we then went into town at midnight only to find we had just missed the party!   On Sunday we watched the yole racing, went on board Hecla for tea and went ashore much earlier to make sure we caught the Sunday night festivities.   All great fun and wonderfully Caribbean.   As you can see, our social life is definitely
