The first night home alone I entertained Vicky and Elliot and acted as their chauffeur too - Elliot was not at all phased by the accoustic landing alongside Swallow. My parking at the quay is improving and I have my little friend to help me! He must have eyes in the back of his head as he is always around when needed! Yesterday I did admin and I can officially announce that progress is being made. The washing is being done as I speak and I have found someone to stitch together my latest upholstery protector ( we found we had a little water on one of the cushions after our last little episode on the high seas!). There is a method of getting fresh water on the boat and fuel - although not sure it will be worth all the hassle as it involves boat loads of jerry cans being ferried out to us! The Sailing Club is not yet functioning but Marie has been fantastic with all the information she's given me! An added bonus, the common language is french! I tried out the public showers too - a great facility and all for the equivalent of 30p. This afternoon I'm off to investigate further afield and tonight I'm out to supper on Swallow. Busy as always!
