Bill and Libbie Crossman, Steve and Rachel Hughes and Mutt all set off for Cardiff to experience the barrage. Tied up alongside Mermaid Quay for a couple of hours and then returned home to Portishead.
Humphrey in charge of the trip down Channel. Spent the weekend in Cardiff and returned to Portishead on Sunday 7th. An idle weekend to say the least!

Took Verity and Edward up to St Pierre to experience the Robinson Crusoe adventure. Beautiful weather and a wonderful way to introduce Verity to sailing with the Short family!
Ocean Rainbow in fundraising mode for Jessie May and despite the miserable wet weather, the 5 lawyers from Wards decided to press on and venture forth into the Channel for their Riviera trip. They were good company and came home beaming from ear to ear.
Saw John Champion in the marina and invited him out for a sail ... great day drifting in the Channel, lunch on board AND he helped fix the Mikuni heater!
5th July Took Ocean Rainbow up to Pill and put her on the Grid to replace the sacrificial anode. She stood rock steady despite the youths of Pill removing her restraining lines and throwing mud clods into her cockpit! Definitely glad we no longer have a fin keel!
