This cave would have been impossible to spot had it not been for a couple of snorkellers who just appeared out of the rock face. It’s really very small and airtight so not a place you could stay in too long and it certainly wouldn’t have held much treasure! We have enjoyed the snorkelling here with big fat fish but there’s a lot of weed which swamps the coral. Sharks swim off the outer reefs although we have yet to see any despite going out to the islands at the northern end of Santa Catalina. Maybe next time. We continue to enjoy this little island and the especially warm welcome we have received from the town and ‘Agent’ Bush.
