I've spent many nights home alone ashore but this is the first night home alone on board!  Ocean Rainbow has to be one of our friendliest homes; she's warm, she's spacious and I'm sure it won't be long before we have everything stowed safely and we can once more set to sea!

We're almost there .... the house is empty and we're living on board.  Claire has even been commuting to work from Ocean Rainbow!   Today she retired and her life is about to change as she becomes a 'lady of leisure'!

Just back from a week's skiing (which was a great break before the big 'pack-up' begins in earnest) to find that our Musto jackets, which we thought were beyond repair, have been returned by Mick in Customer Services in full working order.  Great service Mick and lovely doing business with you!

James has had a busy weekend!   The water pump was a little fiddly but successfully fitted which is cause for much celebration!  We've also mounted the EPIRB, fitted an extra fire extinguisher in the bunk room and replaced the old ones (cheaper than having them serviced!).  The list of jobs done is getting longer […]

At last we have found time to mount the WiFi Bat!   It's not all tickety-boo quite yet but we have run the wiring through the boat and mounted the bat on the gantry ... next move is to see if we can communicate with the outside world using all our new gizmos.
