Court Short

Great day, 70 boats left Portishead, 67 finished - definitely the best race in the Bristol Channel!   Not sure if it was the Skipper leaving early or a different crew to last year, but we didn't quite make the same placing!!  Still we were half way up the rankings so a respectable position (34th!!!).

Ocean Rainbow joined 50 other yachts and set off down the Channel to round the Holms and sail back.   With a reefed main and yankee at the start, a second reef was put in off Clevedon.  At 1630 the wind had dropped off and we shook out the reefs and wafted our way home.   Adrian G (Drain), […]
