Malecon, Esperanza

We chilled out in the beautiful anchorage of Ensenada Del Sol, Vieques to wait out another 4 days of very strong winds. We explored Esperanza - didn't take long! We hiked to see the bioluminescent bay but no bioluminescence because of the weather. We finally made a break for it and sailed as far as Ensenada Honda (all of 13nm) before we ducked in for shelter again. What bliss. So unexpected. A beautiful bay with turquoise waters, silent, but for the birds, jumping rays and the lapping of the water on the hull. An idyllic couple of days.
