Cay Caulker is a wonderful place to welcome in the New Year and what a lovely evening with sailing friends. We met on Makani for appetisers and drinks, then dinghied into town for a delicious meal at a little waterfront restaurant. The evening was rounded off with a champagne toast, mince pies, brandy butter, marzipan surprise 'kugeln' and lots of wonderful fireworks viewed which we viewed from Harmonie.  What a wonderful way to welcome in 2017 and the start of another adventure. We depart for Cuba in the morning. Happy New Year!
