It's taken longer than we'd anticipated but we are now totally prepared for all weathers. Kay has finished our Bimini with its removable sides and front panel as well as new sail covers for the mainsail and the staysail. They've been protected by '303' - the wonder working fluid used in the aerospace business - and we hope that we will be able to sit in the cockpit at anchor in any weather. We have had torrential rain during the last few days and have stayed dry, we've even been able to rig up a rain catcher and have filled our buckets from rainwater pouring off the new canvas. In the sun we are shaded and, despite the fact that the canvas is navy blue rather than the ideal beige, we have stayed relatively cool. All in all a great investment.
