Little had Puddle realised, but up until today she has been running around wearing the emperor's new clothes.   Today she is respectable and fully clad in the smartest 'chaps' imagineable.    We're delighted that we have finally been able to spend long enough in one place to actually get the chaps made - and what could be nicer than staying in Bequia?  We've caught up with Honey Ryder for sundowners together with Freebooter and now we are ready to continue the trip south.   One small drama - don't know if you spotted the bandage on James' leg?   Nurse Claire has been at work repairing the damage (6 butterfly stitches) that can be caused if you step off backwards from the companionway into the void of your bilges!   Luckily no bones broken but a very nasty cut and no swimming for the time being - not easy in this heat!  Note to self ... don't get distracted when checking the bilges it can be painful.  Otherwise, all well on Ocean Rainbow.
