We sailed all of 2nm to Anse La Raye on Friday morning to make sure we were in a prime spot to get ashore for Fish Friday!   We needn’t have worried about over-crowding in the anchorage, it was Freebooter and ourselves.   Fish Friday is quite something and must be the biggest money earner for the village which otherwise relies on its fishing skills.   We had a lovely evening listening to the jazz band and retired early (after a quick nightcap on Freebooter) to enjoy the follow-on disco at a more respectable distance!   We are now in Soufriere and have enjoyed some of the best snorkelling so far by Bat Cave – forgot the camera, but there’s always next time.   Now moored under Petite Piton and enjoying the stunning view.
