EPIRB, fire extinguishers and water pump fitted

Bats in the Belfry? No the Bat’s on the boat

At last we have found time to mount the WiFi Bat!   It’s not all tickety-boo quite yet but we have run the wiring through the boat and mounted the bat on the gantry … next move is to see if we can communicate with the outside world using all our new gizmos.

PCC Dinner Dance and Another Trophy

Ocean Rainbow has won the Cyril Watts Trophy for the second year running!  We now have a matching pair of wine glasses and whisky tumblers.  If we can find a really safe space in which to stow the glasses we may well break our ‘no glass on board’ rule!

Birthday girl takes the helm

Karen celebrated her birthday on board Ocean Rainbow yesterday and took the helm today on our shakedown sail.   It was good to have another pair of hands as we did need to make a few adjustments!
