Question: What's the quickest way for a yacht to cross the Atlantic? Answer: On a cargo ship! And that's exactly what Ocean Rainbow is doing. Finally, after almost 16,000nm she gets a holiday and is letting the m/v Floretgracht take the strain! We're meeting OR in Southampton and sailing her back to Portishead where we will renew her rigging and replace her instruments before setting off next year for a trip down the canals to the Mediterranean. So, instead of sitting on the hard in Trinidad doing the upgrades we shall be back in our house with OR tucked up in the marina - a mere 10 minute walk - and our grandchildren an easy car ride away when we're bored with boat jobs!!
