We had a lovely trip out to Survivor Falls on the edge of the Carite forest. Not exactly the biggest we had ever seen but certainly one of the prettiest with three pools of crystal clear water. Thank goodness for maps.me as signposts are non existent! Ponce carnival was fun with a lovely family atmosphere and then it was back to the boat and off out to anchor ready for the next leg of our trip east. We only made it 33nm down the coast before we headed for shelter from the increasing winds and mounting seas! Yet another front going through earlier than expected. Hopefully we will be on the move soon but, in the meantime, we are enjoying the tranquility of Salinas.
