Brilliant catch, delicious supper

Sunset before the storm

Well we have had a bit of an adventure!  First James caught the biggest fish yet and we had a total fish fest – good job as after preparing that particular meal everything became somewhat more of a challenge.  The weather we had been trying to avoid arrived with a vengeance.   Luckily we are conservative sailors so we had already dropped our main and were sailing under a reefed yankee as we watched the winds build up.    The washboards went in and we saw the anemometer hit 44 knots and the winds blew consistently over 30 knots for more than 7 hours.   It has to be said that we have never sailed in such strong winds for so long before, but we had a beautiful nearly full moon and Humphrey did manage quite well although when the waves came over us and into the cockpit it all became a bit too much for him!   A tiring night but what a great boat we have in Ocean Rainbow.  Warriors rule OK!!
